Launched in 2019, Social4Good (S4G) educates, engages, and empowers women to make a difference in Northern Virginia. Each month, S4G members learn about a critical community need and take action to address the issue with small donations that collectively make a big difference to our local nonprofit partners.

JANUARY: Deliver Clothing to Children in Need with Boxes of Basics
About Our January Nonprofit Partner:
Boxes of Basics provides a full box of seasonal clothes for children in need. Clothing insecurity is one of the most overlooked struggles of childhood poverty. Children notice the too small shoes, the threadbare hoody on a wintry day. Volunteers lovingly package a box tailored for each child’s size and needs to include stylish, quality clothing that will provide them dignity, confidence and help them thrive!
January Goal:
With our financial help, Boxes of Basics can buy clothing that is needed but rarely donated (think warm winter gear). 10% of our recurring donation will supply the boxes we'll pack. Our support will cover a minimum of 175 boxes, serving a minimum of 175 children.
